In her work, choreographer, performer and sound-designer Aline Landreau intertwines textures and environments to question processes of recognition and particularly the possible forms of loss within performing art. She develops a shifting and primitive identity, inside proposals bordering experimental music and visual arts. Her different projects are questioning the conditions of a wider human perception, such as Blur! presented during Open Spaces festival with Tanzfabrik in 2015 and at The Nest festival in Bahrein, and the solo Vox created in 2016 at Tanztage, Sophiensale Berlin and showed at ImPulsTanz festival Vienna. Her last piece Underneath • Souterrains was created in Tanzfabik Berlin in June 2017 and presented in Le Grand Huit Festival in Nantes at the CCNN. Dancing since childhood, she graduated from the Formation d'Artiste Chorégraphique and then the Essais master program at CNDC d'Angers under the direction of Emmanuelle Huynh. Aline also works as performer or assistant with choreographers such as Loïc Touzé, Emmanuelle Huynh and lately with Vincent Dupont, and co-founded in 2010 the artistic platform Météores based in Nantes, that aims to activate a supportive working community within the contemporary performing arts scene. Aline Landreau gives regularly workshops, guided by a continuous interest for somatic technics and improvisation, in various contexts such as schools, hospitals and festivals. She currently works between Nantes and Berlin.

PRODUCTION

Météores

Météores is a shared platform dedicated to choreographic research and culture in which each artist develops his/her singular aesthetic and politic project. Co-founded by Agnieszka Ryszkiewicz, Aline Landreau, Émi SH Combet and Laurie Peschier-Pimont in 2010, it has been settled in Nantes (FR) since 2013 and is regularly joined by other artists, depending on collaborations and projects,

Both an artistic constellation and a shared administrative tool, Météores defends the collective intention to affect art and society, while ensuring the production of a multiplicity of artistic formats including performances and installations as well as editorial and pedagogic objects.
